What is new in the Project
Final Jobs on Trial Meeting and Video Festival in Vire
The final meeting of Jobs on Trial took place on the 4th and 5th June in Vire, France. All partners brought participants from the caried out trials. A large video festival was carried out where each partner presented their work and gave an insight in the trials. Different prices were awarded by an international Jury.
Jobs on Trial Meeting Glasgow
On the 26th and 27th of March the JOT project partners met in Glasgow for the fourth "Jobs on trial" - project meeting. In this final stage of the project the partners discussed their experiences with the trials, the problems they faced, the advantages they see and also their ideas how to improve the trials according to specific needs caused by the different professions and backgrounds. Additionallythe french team´s participants presented their trial they carried out before.

Jobs on Trial Meeting Leipzig, Germany
The Jobs on Trial Meeting in Leipzig was held on 19th and 20th of February. Each partner presented the adaptation work done so far. A rational with a focus on the selected job, the specific target group and the involvement of stakeholders was explained by the project partners. Furthermore, the partners discussed possible problems, the use of the tool in the future and expected impacts. One focus of the meeting was the simulation of the “trial” among the partners in order to better prepare and supervise the job on trial sessions in all partner regions. The partnership also could present the first pictures and videos as well as they could share and evaluate their experiences of the trials carried out.

JOT at the Vocational activization of graduates at regional labour market in Lodz
On May 15th 2014 our polish partner Grzegorz Grodek from 36,6 Competence Centre attended the Aktywizacja zawodowa absolwentów uczelni na łódzkim
rynku pracy (Vocational activization of graduates at regional labour market) in Lodz, Poland. The conference was organized by the Foundation for
Promotion of Entrepreneurship in Lodz and offered the chance to disseminate the Jobs on trial method and activities to a broader audience.
Second "Jobs on trial" meeting in Florence 28th & 29th April 2014
On the 28th and 29th of April the 8 JOT project partners met in Florence for the second "Jobs on trial" - project meeting in Florence, Italy. Project partners shared information about the occupation guidance in participating countries France, Italy, UK, Poland, Turkey, Portugal and Germany and exchanged about JOT sessions, targeted participants and trades planned in each partner country within the next months. Additionally first ideas for screenplays for the JOT films to be produced by each partner were presented. The French coordinator shared their experinces in how to best involve stakeholders of trades in the Jobs on trial experience. Last but not least the Italian hosting parnter Qualitas offered insights into the cultivation and production of Oliveoils, one of the trades that will be targeted by our Italian partners during a "Jobs on trial" - try out, during a visit to the "Azienda Agricola Il Colle" a organic Olive farm and press.

Second JOT- "Jobs on trial" project meeting is coming up
On 28th and 29th of April 2014 the 8 partners from 7 countries meet in Florence Italy for the second project meeting. The aims are to exchange about first experiences with the "Jobs on trial" - method and related approaches in the field of labor market integration and support for trainees and unemployed. Also partners will present their planned JOT experimentation, tailored according to specifications in targeted group and trades in each partner country. Besides project partners are looking forward to receiving additional first-hand information and insights on the work of our hosts Qualitas Promozione e Sviluppo Progetti.
GRUNDTVIG Learning partnership project JOT -"Jobs on trial" Kick-off meeting in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal 16th - 17th December 2013
The first JOT-"Jobs on trial" project partner meeting took place in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal from 16th to 17th December 2013 with the opportunity for all project partners to become acquainted with each other and most of all with the JOT- "Jobs on trial" approach, which was presented to them by the French partners GIP FCIP de Brasse Normandie and GRETA Sud Normandie. A guided tour through the Escola Professional Cior and a study visit to the Job center in Vila Nova de Famalicão provided insights into their work on guidance and support to foster employability and cooperation between employers and job seekers. Furthermore a general work plan and tasks were agreed upon so that the JOT partnership project is now well on its way.
